Concert tour is not just playing latest songs from albums. It’s the chance to directly communicate with the fans across Japan, and that is what the live is about, for HY.
In that point of view, HY is the band to always look for the idealistic concert tour.
They never forget the appreciation and care, to every single fan that makes everything possible. Members never neglect the idea of music: for HY, it’s not just the work of artists, but fans are indispensable.
The tour started on March 17, 2006, at Chiba Bunka Kaikan. And it ended at July 28 at Okinawa Convention Theatre, total of 47 shows. The band’s belief of communicating with fans was there in this going-around-the-entire-prefecture-of-Japan tour.
On the stage was an imitation of the streets of Mihama Carnival Park. Even if you’ve never been to Okinawa, you might recognize the Ferris wheel on the stage. In the center of the Ferris wheel, was the big logo of the band “HY”, It was an original made Ferris wheel just for this live stage. “Shii-sa”(beast of god) sit and watch the live. You could only enjoy the scale in the big hall, and the band is grown twice as bigger than the last tour.
Smiling faces shows the powerful personalities of Shinsuke Kyoda and Yuhei Miyazato. They are definitely different than before. Hideyuki Shinzato’s care and communication with the audience, and Izumi Nakasone’s powerful expression on her vocal and Shun Naka’s energetic beat had surely made the progress after making the album “Confidence”.
There are so many attractive scenes in the DVD. Call and response on the song “Anata-ni Kiss”, Izumi’s little tips of how to know girls’ heart in “I JUST DO IT FOR YOU”, all the member had lined up in the front of the stage in the unplugged “Ocean” performance.
Between songs, interviews are featured.
They had collaborated with the gospel choir of the live house region in the song “NAO”
But in Tokyo and Okinawa, the group was consists of the album recording staffs.
At the lobby, HY logo was located, and each audience put on their stickers.
The last tour it was a big trunk, this time, it was big mosaic of HY logo that the member and audience both participate in making. This DVD also features the figure of the audiences and entire pictures of the places the band visited.
The last song “Tabidachi” is very, very touching.
Tour title means: “Our companions, they are all good people” 6th member of HY is the 88,105 “SHINKER” who were the audience.
